Our Story

Ever since I was a little girl, I have enjoyed making things for myself and others. It was in middle school when I took a Home Ec class with my favorite teacher, that I really began to enjoy sewing. She taught me the basics, which I didn't revisit again until I became a parent.

It was then that I discovered I had just enough creativity and desire to make sweet little dresses with matching hats for my daughter Katrina, and fun little board shorts for my son, Connor. For several years I considered it a hobby that entertained the kids as we searched for fabrics that they thought were "fun" to create a little something special for them... and of course, I couldn't resist making the occasional brother/sister matching outfit!

Fast forward twenty-some years and here I go again! One day, while looking for a special baby gift nothing seemed just right, and I thought "why don't I just make something?" It was then that kadori was born.

I hope you enjoy kadori as much as I have enjoyed creating it. However, I certainly can’t take all of the credit because so much of it goes to my super helpful, talented, and now grown up daughter, Katrina. I literally could not have done it without her and the help of so many others.

kadori   is now available on-line and at select boutiques across the country.
